Ken Allen, RICP®
Retirement Income Certified Professional®
After graduating from Northeastern University with a bachelor of science degree, Ken distinguished himself as an account representative and manager of a direct sales company. Ken’s interest in financial matters led him to MetLife where he worked for 18 years as an insurance agent and financial planner. During that time he built an impressive clientele who valued his sound financial strategies, high level of integrity and exceptional service.
In 2005, he joined New England Schooner, Inc., an office of Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. As an independent financial advisor he now had the freedom to work directly for his clients and offer a universe of financial products and services from many of the finest companies available.
Today, Ken works primarily with baby boomers and seniors who he readily identifies with. His expertise is retirement income planning and he holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) professional designation from the American College of Financial Services. His mission is to design portfolios and strategies with a focus on income and wealth preservation so his clients can live comfortably and confidently in their retirement years.
Ken and his wife Joan have been married for over 40 years. They have two married daughters and 3 grandchildren.
